Hamilton Aquatic Committee & Volunteers

Hamilton Aquatics is a Not-for-Profit volunteer organisation which relies on our volunteers to operate. At the heart of our club is a team of volunteers who work hard behind the scenes to bring the clubs’ vision to fruition, creating a strong sense of belonging between the club and its members.

This year our committee has been busy working on budgets, a club handbook, applying for grants, designing and issuing new uniforms, grant applications, upgrading our health and safety systems while juggling COVID -19 restricted lane hire and COVID -19 ‘level’ required changes to squad schedules, to name a few activities. Even though it's a challenge, as time is always a factor, the committee and action groups work well together and are very committed to making Hamilton Aquatics a positive experience for all.

We encourage all members to get involved; it is a great way to become involved in your child's swimming development and to have fun with others in the club.

Our Officals

Without officials, competitive swimming wouldn’t exist, and Hamilton Aquatics are lucky to have some of New Zealand’s best.

This group of dedicated individuals give up literally hours of their time each year to support the delivery of swim meets throughout the Waikato and New Zealand. Some have had children who have since left the sport, some have children swimming, and some are swimmers themselves, what they all have in common is their love of the competition and a commitment to giving back to their community.
Hamilton Aquatics would like to thank them for their ongoing support to the sport of swimming; we appreciate the time they commit so our children can participate in a sport they love.

Thank you to;

Russell Strange | Kieran McCarthy | Edward Hardie | Gina McCarthy | Brent Kennedy |  Rachel Kennedy | Niall Broekhuizen | Stu Woods | Dave Musto | Wendy Smith | Lynelle Flynn | Jean Baker | Keith Baker

Thank you to our partners who provide us with grants, funding and sponsorship.
Without the support of these organisations, Hamilton Aquatics would not be able to operate.

We are extremely grateful for their ongoing assistance and cannot thank them enough.

Hamilton Aquatics is a community based aquatics club that enables members across Hamilton to connect, have fun and achieve their aquatic goals.
